I must admit it! I failed. I’ve lost to great M$ and I had to start using a Windows Mobile device together with Microsoft Outlook 2007. After many satisfied years with PalmOS device, Symbian UIQ, Pegasus Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird I am now stuck with Outlook and Pocket PC (WM5). I’ve never planned to create a blog, but there’s lot of people around me who is also facing this situation: They are syncing their PalmOS devices to Outlook for the first and the last time, to bury them somewhere in the basement and switch to poor WM device.
I’ve been waiting for a quite long time before i decided to switch to Windows Mobile. But today you have no other choice. I wanted GSM/UMTS, GPS, WiFi device all-in-one solution and no one is able to bundle all these features under a different system than WM. (And no I don’t expect that iPhone will save us =). In such dark times as these, when even the Palm company is creating WM devices and Symbian has been bought by the more-marketing-less-tech-company Nokia here comes my blog.
